Faversham town is just five minutes drive away by car, and has two supermarkets, a cinema, and a large indoor & outdoor swimming pool. There is also a good selection of restaurants to be found in the town and surrounding villages. There is also an excellent Tourist Information Centre in Faversham, providing details of the wealth of historic castles and places of interest to visit.
Nearby is the Syndale Park Sport & Leisure Centre. Squash courts, gymnasium, sauna, solarium and Jacuzzi are available for a small nominal fee. It also has a licensed bar if you just want to relax and enjoy a drink.
The great Cathedral City of Canterbury is just a short journey away, and the coast is a mere 15 minute journey. Blue Water, Europe's largest shopping centre, is less than an hour's drive away. There is also easy access to London, either by road or train. You could even be in France within a couple of hours, either having a day trip by ferry from Dover, or take the Channel Tunnel and go by train.
